I wrote this song in honor of the thousands of victims of the tragic earthquake that hit most of the coast of Ecuador in April 16th of 2016.  The song is a "pasillo", a tradicional song form I arranged with chamber strings, the characteristic sounds of Ecuadorian guitars and my singing voice.

"Ugly Duckling" and "Nostalgic Afternoon" have been selected as semifinalists in the Open and Instrumental categories at this year's UK Songwriting Contest!  Can't wait to see the final results later on the year :)
